So, for about six years now, I have come to realize just how much understanding and wisdom God has given me. When I took some spiritual gifts tests, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, leadership, and teaching came out on top. I've felt that God wanted me to use these gifts in the form of devotionals. I even thought about starting up a non-denominational church and being the pastor (baptist churches won't allow woman pastors even though there were woman deacons in the Bible and back then woman had no rights.) Well, after some praying and discussing with a few friends, I've decided to post devotionals on here.
I've come up with the lesson for a few Sunday night classes before, and done a few online devotionals, but I'm still pretty new at this, so forgive me if they don't sound fancy.
I will be doing my best to make sure everything lines up with the Bible, but, I specifically do not want you to believe every word of my devotionals like they are the Bible. I've seen people do this with pastors, and it's dangerous. I don't believe any pastor or speaker is right all the time, and it's up to you to be discerning and trust God to show you want is true and what isn't. I'll be posting what I believe and give quotes from the Bible as backup, but I could be wrong on somethings.
The threads here will allow member posting so that they can be discussed (this idea is thanks to Gin) but, while you are free to share your opinions, remember not to flame anyway.
I won't have a certain schedule I'll be posting on, but, rather, when something catches my attention.
