My grandma is starting to have a lot of back trouble. They've been giving her some shots and it seems to be helping. She's also having some problems with short term memory loss. Nothing serious, the doctor hasn't even said anything about it, but she's repeating stuff all the time. The medicine she's on for back pain is making it worse though. Then there's various other small problems. Small enough I can't really think of them, but, in general, and I say this in a totally polite and non-offensive way, she's just getting old. She's in her mid 70s and is pretty good health for that age. But still problems are starting to come. She's off work until after the new year and she can't drive much which is bad 'cause I only have my permit so I can drive if she's in the car but otherwise I can't and no one else can be in the car with us. Plus my mom can't work and we're waiting til I can get my vsd fixed when I'm close to 17 before the insurance we have is lost so I can't got a job for another year or so. So we really are pretty dependent on her. Not that I'm saying we want her able just for that reason alone, but it is another reason, as if a smaller one. So just pray for her health and pray that everything works out.
